Graham Cogger has been a volunteer for Essex Wildlife Trust’s sustainability team since 2020. We spoke to Graham to ask him more about what it’s like being a volunteer with us.
The tiny wren, with its typically cocked tail, is a welcome and common visitor to gardens across town and countryside. It builds its domed nests in sheltered bushes and rock crevices.
Graham has been mad about butterflies all his life. He volunteers for Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust and records them on a local nature reserve as well as nationally.
