Nature needs our help, now more than ever. Many of our precious species are under serious threat, as numbers continue to decline through habitat loss and climate change. The money raised through our Adopt a Species scheme helps us continue our vital conservation work, protecting the wildlife and wild places of Essex.
Adoption makes a lovely gift, or you can choose to adopt a one of the below species for yourself.
Adopt a Species Gift Box - £32.00
Our gorgeous gift boxes contain a personalised certificate, welcome letter and species fact sheet, as well as a delightful Essex Wildlife Trust Eco-Friendly plantable pen. The pen comes with plantable seed paper – so you can plant both card and pen after use!
The gift box also includes a cuddly Keycraft Living Nature soft toy. They are made using recycled plastic from used bottles and food containers, that might otherwise end up in landfill or our oceans. N.B. The bee gift boxes include a beautiful creative crochet bee kit in place of a soft toy.
Free shipping. Gift boxes are sent via Royal Mail 2nd class, so we strongly advise placing orders for Christmas no later than Tuesday 17 December.

Adopt a Species Digital Pack - £15
Our digital adoption packs consist of a downloadable certificate and fact sheet about your chosen species, which you will be able to access as soon as you have made payment. If your adoption is a gift you can then either forward the certificate and fact sheet on by email or print them off at home.
