Make a bird silhouette for your window

Make a bird silhouette for your window

Discover how bird silhouettes can become stylish window wardens for our wildlife.

Create your own bird silhouettes

There is nothing quite so distressing and headache-inducing for our feathered friends than when their flight paths unintentionally collide with a window or patio door. Placing silhouettes on these transparent barriers will deter any winged wonders from unfortunate accidents, whilst also adding a nice decorative touch to your windows this summer.

Follow our 4 simple steps on our handy resources below to prevent bird strikes at home.

You will need:

Black paper/card, bird silhouette/stencil, pencil, scissors, tape/Blu-tac to adhere your silhouettes. You can download a ready-made silhouette stencil at the bottom of this page.

1) Gather your materials.

2) Draw a bird silhouette, or print our silhouettes to trace round.

3) Cut out your bird silhouette carefully.

4) Adhere to windows and let birds know to avoid your window.
