About the event
To many, winter is a quiet season, but wildlife is still here, and often at its most spectacular. It is the season of the Brent Geese in our estuaries and on our reserves, and of the Starling Murmurations, as birds from North and East begin to arrive, to take advantage of our relatively benign climate here in Essex. The struggle to survive against the elements brings some of our more secretive wildlife into the open. Winter is a great season to get out and see some wildlife. This talk introduces how and where to see some winter wildlife in our gardens, our county, and beyond.
