About the event
A beautiful feather from a coastal bird, a mermaid's purse, or a fossilised shark's tooth could be amongst the treasures left behind by the tide. Explore where the land meets the sea and learn about some of the fascinating animals and plants that live here, led by our Wilder Learning Officer.
Please meet at the Naze Nature Discovery Centre and come dressed for the weather, we suggest old shoes, warm layers, and a windproof jacket. This session is most suited to children aged 4 and up. Unfortunately, the site features stairs, a steep slope and uneven ground, so is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Children remain your responsibility and must be supervised by an adult at all times. The car park is managed by Tendring District Council and parking charges apply. No dogs at our events, please.
