Council owned memorials
Some of our reserves are owned by local councils and managed by Essex Wildlife Trust. Therefore, some memorials need to be arranged through the relevant local council instead of the Trust:
Gunners Park – new benches are currently unable to be installed at this site due to the history of the reserve – for plaques on existing benches please contact Southend-on-Sea City Council
Belfairs – controlled by Southend-on-Sea City Council
Thorndon – benches controlled by Explore Essex, part of Essex County Council
Bedfords Park – benches controlled by Havering London Borough
Memorial trees
We are unable to support the planting of memorial trees.
