About the event

This walk to the remote Stone Point peninsular will be one of the last opportunities to see our winter waders, ducks and geese, before they depart for breeding grounds in the Arctic. The walk is undertaken as the tide is coming in, causing many of the wading birds to leave the mud banks, on which they have been feeding, to roost on the salt marsh.

Please be aware that this walk may take up to three hours, is up to five miles in length and involves walking over soft sand, mud and salt marsh. Tide and beach conditions on the day will dictate the actual route and duration of this walk and it may not be possible or safe to get all the way to Stone Point on the day.

Please wear suitable footwear, weather appropriate clothing and bring some water and snacks. Most important of all, don't forget your binoculars!

Please note that wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed and may be distant. Don't forget your binoculars.

£7 per person.
