About the event

Explore the beach and discover more about our fascinating coast, and the wildlife that calls it home. Search the little pools and rocks for sea creatures. See some fossils and hunt for treasure all led by a member of our wilder learning team.

This event is suitable for children aged 4 -12. The beach is accessed via steep stairs and unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. The car park is managed by TDC, and parking charges apply. We’ll go exploring whatever the weather, so please dress appropriately. Due to the outdoor nature of the event, all activities are subject to change. Children must be supervised by their attending adult at all times. Toilets and refreshments are available at the centre. No dogs at our events, please.
