Last month, Nature Nursery mini graduates enjoyed their moment on centre stage in caps and gowns at the special graduation ceremony held at Abbotts Hall nature reserve. families and staff beamed with pride as the children received flowers and certificates, along with a personalised farewell speech for each child about their time at the nursery.
Seventeen three-to-four-year-old pupils graduated at the annual ceremony, which marks their transition to primary school later this year.
The Nature Nursery, which recently received an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted report, will welcome a new cohort of students in September.
Melanie Mewton, Nature Nursery Manager says:
“The children who graduated this term have been a huge, integral part of the Nature Nursery family, many of them being with us since day one. They have all grown in all ways imaginable, developed unique characteristics and shown amazing skills and personalities - we will miss them all and are so proud of them. All of the Nature Nursery staff wish them good luck for the next big steps they are taking in September.”
