Other ways to support this appeal
Adopt a barbastelle bat
Danbury Ridge is known to be a hotspot for the barbastelle bat; one of the UK's rarest mammals. These elusive bats can move freely across Fir Tree Wood, utilising the network of woodland rides and streams, and roosting in the canopies.
For a limited time, you can adopt your very own barbastelle bat, with the proceeds gong to our Fir Tree Wood appeal.
Adopt a Species Gift Box - £32.00
Our gorgeous gift boxes contain a personalised certificate, welcome letter and species fact sheet, as well as a delightful Essex Wildlife Trust eco-friendly plantable pen. The pen comes with plantable seed paper – so you can plant both card and pen after use!
The gift box also includes a cuddly Keycraft Living Nature soft toy. They are made using recycled plastic from used bottles and food containers, that might otherwise end up in landfill or our oceans.
Free shipping. Orders usually dispatched within five working days, but please allow additional time for postage for the gift boxes – items are sent 2nd class via Royal Mail.
We are currently only able to ship to addresses in the UK.
Adopt a Species Digital Pack - £15
Our digital adoption packs consist of a downloadable certificate and fact sheet about your chosen species, which you will be able to access as soon as you have made payment. If your adoption is a gift you can then either forward the certificate and fact sheet on by email or print them off at home.
