Terms and conditions
I/We understand that…
- I/We have funded the memorial in memory but do not own the memorial, it is the property of Essex Wildlife Trust
- I/We are not to leave tributes as we want to let others enjoy the surroundings in comfort as such flowers and other memorial items placed will be removed.
- Essex Wildlife Trust do not maintain memorials, they are left to weather in keeping with the environment.
- Memorials have a limited life, and the Essex Wildlife Trust cannot guarantee the long-term safety or security of the memorial and it is not responsible for the replacement of a memorial resulting from damage, deterioration with age or vandalism.
- If a memorial is considered unsafe it would be removed and I/we would be notified if contact details have been provided and it is before 8 years of the life of the memorial being sited.
- After the period of 8 years Essex Wildlife Trust reserve the right to remove the memorial and offer the location to a new donor.
- Our contact details will be kept securely on file for the life of the memorial.
- Payment must be received in advance of the memorial being sited.
- Essex Wildlife Trust reserve the right to place or move memorial items in areas without public access to avoid antisocial behaviour.
- Essex Wildlife Trust cannot guarantee the future layout, viewpoints and planting at reserves as this is determined by conservation requirements and wildlife needs at the site.
