About the event

Sometimes mistaken for wasps or bees, which they mimic, or else overlooked entirely, hoverflies are fascinating creatures in their own right. They show a huge range of adaptations and life-history strategies, their larvae ranging from underwater grazers to aphid-hunting predators. They have also been shown to pollinate 70% of our food crops. Join community ranger John Attiwell as he begins to discover these fascinating, and underappreciated insects.

This webinar is free to attend, and at checkout, you’ll have the option to select a free ticket or contribute a donation of your choice. All donations are greatly appreciated and help support our vital conservation work. Thank you for your support!
