Join Signals at Essex Wildlife Trust’s Fingringhoe Wick Visitor Centre for the opening of their exhibition ‘The Year’, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the Hervey Benham Charitable Trust. The exhibit will showcase the impressive array of projects produced throughout the year, including photography, filmmaking, wild writing, wildlife-themed video games and more. All of the projects were inspired by the varied wildlife spectacles that occur at the nature reserve throughout the year, including the sound of the nightingales, the rare adders, the family of badgers and the hundreds of wading birds to name a few.
The exhibition opens at 10am on Saturday 30 March at Fingringhoe Wick Nature Reserve Visitor Centre, South Green Road, Colchester, CO5 7DN. There will also be animation and calligraphy activities along with a group walk around the reserve for the public to get involved with. If you can’t make the event itself, the exhibition will be showing until Monday 22 April, free of charge to the public.
