Welcome to our Badger Webcam

Take a look at our live webcam from our badger sett situated at our Fingringhoe Wick nature reserve. The sett consists of a male and female adult, four juveniles and two cubs born January / February last year.

Badgers need enough time to find food, so during the summer when nights are short they will come out before the sun has set to give them sufficient foraging time. In winter, when the nights are longer and the badgers are less active, they will emerge well after dark.

Our Badger watch evenings are back!

Every Tuesday and Saturday evening from March to the end of October. The start time is approximately an hour or so before dusk.

The hide is small – so the max capacity for viewing is 4 people. There are no upper or lower age limits. Please bear in mind that you will be seated for possibly a couple of hours, so may get chilly.  To get the best possible viewings you will need to sit fairly still and quietly to enjoy the badgers. Timings and FAQs will be sent out near the visit date.

£15 per person. Booking essential.

Please call the Nature Discovery Park on 01206 729678 to book your place
