About the event

Join artist, Vivien McGuinness for a relaxed, friendly, fun-filled workshop focusing on the woodlands and wildlife on the nature reserve. Everyone is welcome, beginners and improvers alike. All drawing/painting materials and equipment are provided but please wear suitable clothing for the weather and bring a camping chair and drink bottle.

The workshop will be based indoors, and weather permitting, on  location around the reserve.

Vivien will cover using various drawing materials with watercolours. She will give a couple of short painting demonstrations showing you how to paint wet-into-wet, and how to paint layers wet-on-dry. Techniques to produce interesting textures will also be covered. One to one tuition will be given throughout the session.

The workshop includes a 45 minute break for lunch. Purchasable from the tea room, or bring your own to eat outside.
