About the event
A combination of our seashore explore and science lab sessions. Join our wilder learning team as we head to the beach to explore this fascinating environment. Collect rock and shell samples and use nets to search the pools for seashore creatures. Then return to our pop up science lab with some of these finds to discover more. Use microscopes and simple experiments to explore and discover more about rocks, fossils and shells from our shoreline and the adaptations of the plants and creatures that live here.
Meet inside the Naze Nature Discovery Centre. The beach is accessed via steep stairs and unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
Car park is managed by TDC, parking charges apply. We’ll go exploring whatever the weather, so please dress appropriately. Due to the outdoor nature of the event all activities are subject to change. Children must be supervised by their attending adult at all times. Toilets and refreshments are available at the centre.

Dogs
Please note that dogs are permitted on the reserve but are not allowed inside the Nature Discovery Centre.
