About the event

A combination of our seashore explore and science lab sessions. Join our wilder learning team as we head to the beach to explore this fascinating environment. Collect rock and shall samples and use nets to search the pools for seashore creatures. Then return to our pop up science lab with some of these finds to discover more. Use microscopes and simple experiments to explore and discover more about rocks, fossils and shells from our shoreline and the adaptations of the plants and creatures that live here.

Meet inside the Naze Nature Discovery Centre. This session is best suited to children aged 7 and over. Children remain your responsibility and must be supervised by an adult at all times. Please note the beach is accessed by steep stairs and regretfully is not accessible for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Car park is managed by Tendring District Council and parking charges apply.
